Itinerary

Arrive at Chandigarh Airport / Railway Station, where our experienced driver will meet you and assist with the journey to Narkanda.

En route, visit Shimla local attractions including:

Mall Road
Ridge
Gaiety Theatre
Kali Bari Temple
Lakkar Bazaar
Wax Museum
Scandal Point

Continue towards Kufri, a charming hill station located about 20 km from Shimla, known for its breathtaking Himalayan views, lush green valleys, and pleasant climate.

Drive through Green Valley and Wild Flower Hall before reaching Narkanda.

Upon arrival:

Check-in at the hotel
Dinner and overnight stay in Narkanda

 

fter breakfast, begin a scenic drive towards Sangla Valley.

En route visit Rampur, once the capital of the Bushahr Kingdom and home to the historic palace of the Maharaja of Rampur.

The journey continues along the famous Indo-Tibet Highway, carved dramatically through rocky mountains along the Sutlej River.

Highlights along the route:

Spectacular mountain roads
Hydroelectric power projects
Confluence of Baspa and Sutlej Rivers at Karcham
Cross the bridge at Karcham and enter the beautiful Baspa Valley, leading to Sangla.
Arrival at Sangla
Check-in at hotel

Dinner and overnight stay

After breakfast, explore the scenic villages of Rakcham and Chitkul.

Chitkul is known as the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border and offers breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks and the Baspa River.

Later continue the journey to Kalpa via Reckong Peo, the district headquarters of Kinnaur.
At Kalpa enjoy magnificent views of:
Kinner Kailash Range
Jorkanden Peak

Visit:

Kinnauri-style temples
Samdrup Choeling Monastery

Overnight stay at hotel in Kalpa.

Today marks the beginning of your journey into the Spiti Valley.

Drive along the Indo-Tibet Highway to Khab, where the Spiti and Sutlej Rivers meet.
Continue towards Nako Village situated at around 3800 meters altitude. Visit the beautiful Nako Lake, surrounded by traditional houses and mountains.
Next visit Geyu Village, famous for its 500-year-old naturally preserved mummy.
Later continue to Tabo, home to the famous Tabo Monastery, over 1000 years old and often called the Ajanta of the Himalayas.

Explore:

Monastery murals and paintings
Meditation caves used by monks
Overnight stay in Tabo.

After breakfast visit Tabo Monastery.

Proceed to Dhankar Monastery, dramatically located on a cliff overlooking the confluence of Spiti and Pin Rivers.
Visit Dhankar Lake (optional short trek).
Later explore Pin Valley National Park, known for its stunning landscapes and wildlife.
Continue to Kaza, the main town and administrative center of Spiti Valley.
Check-in at hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza.

After breakfast explore some of the highest inhabited villages in the world.

Visit:

Langza Village – famous for the giant Buddha statue and fossil hunting
Hikkim – home to the world’s highest post office
Komik Village – one of the highest motorable villages in Asia

Later visit:

Key Monastery – the largest and most famous monastery in Spiti
Kibber Village – one of the highest inhabited villages
Return to Kaza for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast depart for Sissu.

En route visit:

Kunzum Pass – gateway between Spiti and Lahaul Valley
Chandratal Lake (Moon Lake), one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in India
Koksar Snow Point
Continue to Sissu Village in Lahaul Valley.
Check-in at hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast explore Sissu Village including:

Sissu Lake
Sissu Waterfall
Drive through the famous Atal Tunnel, one of the longest high-altitude tunnels in the world.
En route visit Solang Valley, known for its adventure activities and stunning views.
Continue to Manali.Check-in at hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast explore the popular attractions of Manali:

Hadimba Devi Temple
Van Vihar
Club House
Tibetan Monastery
Mall Road shopping
Enjoy the lively atmosphere of Manali in the evening.
Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.

After breakfast check-out from the hotel.

Drive towards Chandigarh.

En route visit:

Kasol – a scenic village in Parvati Valley
Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara – famous for its hot water springs
Continue the drive to Chandigarh.
Arrival and drop at Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey.
